Cranberry Thanksgiving Bread GF
Cranberry Thanksgiving Bread
This is most definitely my favorite Thanksgiving bread that I’ve been making for over 40 years! It started out as a child when I read the cutest book Called “Cranberry Thanksgiving” By Wende and Harry Devlin. Oh, how I loved that book! The bread in the book was so delicious the sly stranger tried to steal the recipe hidden behind a brick in the grandmother’s fireplace. In the back of the book it had the recipe for Grandmother’s Thanksgiving Cranberry bread. When I was little we made the bread using the exact recipe. It was delicicious. As the years went by and several of us developed wheat allergies i baked countless batches of this bread trying to make it gluten free and still keep the intergrity of the original taste. A few years ago I finally did it. It turned out so good that it was actually the first bread I ever took pictures of and later made a video for. It’s my childhood dearest memories rolled into one delicious gluten free, tangy and sweet citrusy bread! I am absolutely positive your family is going to love this as much as my family does. Let me know how your Thanksgiving was and what your family traditions are! I hope to expand our traditions each year by trying new and fabulous recipes. Although I know this bread will always be my favorite because of the memories attached to it, I look forward to learning what all the readers traditions are and incorporate it into our next
